Candidates are listed on a sample ballot which is posted in the voting place. An election official will explain voting procedures to you if necessary. The Registrar of Voters Office is located at Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Ave. - Office hours are from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. The phone number is (203) 341-1117. The Republican Registrar is Maria Signore however, anyone answering the phone is happy to assist you should you have any questions. To Register to Vote in Westport YOU MUST:

Be a bona fide resident of this town (A bona fide resident is one whose fixed home is in the town in which they apply and to which home or town they intend to return when they are temporarily absent.);

Have completed confinement and parole if previously convicted of a felony and have had your voting rights restored by Registrar.
Absentee Ballot Applications - may be obtained 31 days before the election from the Town Clerk's office, Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Ave., Room 105, Westport, CT 06880 Telephone (203) 341-1110. Any registered voter may vote by absentee ballot under the following circumstances - if they are in the active service of the Armed Forces of the United States, absent from their town of residence, their sickness, their religious tenets forbid secular activity on the day of the election, primary or referendum, their duties as a primary election or referendum at a polling place other than my own during all hours of voting, or physical disability.
