The Registrar of Voters Office is located at Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Ave.
- Office hours are from 9:00am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday. The
phone number is (203) 341-1115. The Republican Registrar is Judith Raines,
however, anyone answering the phone be happy to assist you should you
have any questions. Mail-in voter registration cards will be sent out
on request.
To Register to Vote in Westport YOU MUST:

Be a United States Citizen;
•
Be a bona fide resident of this town (A bona fide resident
is one whose fixed home is in the
town in which they apply
and to which home or town they intend to return when they
are temporarily absent.);
•
Be at least 17 years
old (you can vote when you turn 18)
•
Have completed confinement and parole if previously
convicted of a felony and have had
your voting rights restored by
Registrar.
Absentee Ballot Applications - may be obtained 60 days before
the election from the Town Clerk's office, Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Ave.,

ballot under the following circumstances - if they are in the active
service of the armed forces of the United States, absent from town during
all of the hours of voting, illness, physical disability, religious
tenets which forbid secular activity on the day of the election, primary
or referendum, or duties as an election officer at a polling place other
than their own during all the hours of voting. An application for an
